The UK’s Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency (MHRA) has launched a new, ‘new treatment’ that could be used to treat allergic conditions including those for children, adolescents and adults.
The new treatment is called ‘Zithromax’, which is designed to reduce the swelling and itching of conditions affecting the body.
The product will be sold over the counter in pharmacies and comes with a cost-benefit analysis that will be published in the online edition of theNew England Journal of Medicinein May 2018.

A total of 10,000 people in the UK have been diagnosed with allergic-type conditions as a result of treatment with the antibiotic azithromycin.
